Skill-based Workshops are $25 - $50 sliding scale.
$25 - Low barrier access: For those facing financial hardship
$35 - Community rate: For those with limited expendable income
$50 - True cost ticket: Covers the actual cost of running the class
$100 - Pay it forward ticket: Helps fund access for others
Project-based Workshops are $50 - $150 sliding scale. You will be able to take your project home afterwards.

Cancellation refunds are accepted up to 3 days before the start of the workshop by email only.
Within the 3 days before the workshop starts, there are no tuition refunds unless your place is filled from the waitlist.
If the workshop is canceled your tuition will be refunded at your discretion, or credited for the next available workshop date. We reserve the right to reschedule workshops.

Sculpt bracelets out of wood as well as gain basic woodworking skills. You will learn how to use a drill press, a bandsaw, miter saw, and sander. You will leave the workshop with a finished wooden bracelet! Workshops are $50 - $150 sliding scale.

Does your sewing machine feel more like a mystery box than your creative partner? In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to care for your sewing machine so it runs smoothly, lasts longer, and produces more consistent stitches. We will also make a drawstring bag so bring your favorite fabric! This class focuses on preventative maintenance and troubleshooting through care, not repair or servicing.
What to bring:

Woodshop Open Studio is an opportunity for the community to use our beautiful and well-equipped woodworking shop. All participants must have taken a workshop at BOSS or be proficient in woodworking.
Woodshop Open Studio is meant for self-directed projects without an instructor. Participants should be proficient in the techniques required for their projects; however, a knowledgable woodworking staff is on hand to orient folks to the shop space and answer questions. Participants will need to bring their own wood to use.
